About
Team Sermath is a small team of friends making games. So far: a cooking visual novel that's out now, a co-op arena shooter and a fantasy life sim on the way.

Logo
The logos
| Logo | File | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Lockup | lockup.svg |
The default. Headers, press, store pages, trailers. |
| Mark | mark.svg |
Where the name is already nearby, or space is tall and narrow. The mascot. |
| Badge | badge.svg |
Round and playful spaces: stickers, merch, end cards. Its letters are plain ink, so on dark grounds use badge-paper.svg. |
| Icon | icon.svg |
Square spaces: favicon, app icons, social avatars. icon-16.svg is its 16 px version. |
The lockup, the mark and the badge also come in one color: -ink for light backgrounds and single-color print,
-paper for dark backgrounds. Use full color whenever you can. The full-color lockup works on paper, on ink and
on photos, because its letters carry their own white sticker.
All files are generated from the designer’s master into brand/dist/logos/. Never redraw or re-export a logo
by hand.
Clear space
Keep empty space around the logo at least as wide as the T of TEAM is tall. Nothing else (text, edges, other logos) goes inside it. The white sticker edge counts as part of the logo, not as clear space.
Minimum size
| Logo | Screen | |
|---|---|---|
| Lockup | 120 px wide | 30 mm wide |
| Mark | 24 px tall | 8 mm tall |
| Badge | 64 px wide | 20 mm wide |
| Icon | 32 px | 8 mm |
Below 32 px, use icon-16.svg: the same face redrawn on a 16 px grid, so it stays sharp in browser tabs.
Don’t
- Don’t recolor the logo, or put the full-color version on banana yellow (the banana disappears).
- Don’t stretch, squash, rotate or tilt the lockup. The badge is the round version.
- Don’t remove the sticker outline, the ink ring, or the sunglasses.
- Don’t add shadows, glows or outlines of your own.
- Don’t use the
-inkversion on dark backgrounds or the-paperversion on light ones. - Don’t place the logo on a busy image without a calm area behind it.
- Don’t rebuild the letters in a font. TEAM SERMATH is hand-drawn and only exists in the logo files.
How Team Sermath sounds, in store pages, news, social posts and in our games.
Voice and tone
Who we sound like
A small team of friends who make games and are a bit too excited about them. Warm, playful and direct, like the banana in sunglasses: confident, never smug.
Principles
- Plain first, fun second. Say the thing clearly, then add the wink. A joke never replaces the information.
- Short sentences. One idea each. Players skim.
- We, not the company. “We fixed the lobby bug”, not “Team Sermath has resolved an issue”.
- Talk to the player. “You” and “your friends”, not “users”.
- Excited, not loud. One exclamation mark per post at most. No ALL CAPS, except in the logo.
- Honest. No invented quotes, fake scarcity or promises we can’t keep. Say “soon” only when it is soon.
Tone by place
| Place | Tone |
|---|---|
| Store pages, trailers | Energetic and concrete: what you do in the game, with whom, and why it’s fun. |
| News and devlogs | Friendly and behind-the-scenes. Show the work, admit the bugs. |
| Social posts | The most playful. Short, visual, one idea. |
| Privacy, EULA, support | Calm and plain. No jokes. Clear steps and dates. |
| Errors and empty states | Light, then helpful: a small smile, then what to do next. |
Words

The studio name is always Team Sermath: two words, capital T and S. Never TS, Sermath alone, or TeamSermath in running text.
